It's been an incredible month teeming with transitions. Our latest mission to El Salvador saw us interacting with families and surrendering our gifts to God in new and exciting ways. Coupled with a back-to-back VBS mission in Miami, our current missionary season has us feeling both charged and solemnly focused; the launch of Paint by Faith sprouted up from some powerful confirmations God affirmed about my hopes to start a family and my future in ministry. When you truly receive a word from God, it will shock and illuminate you to the very core. I've been guilty of clutching on to ear-tickling statements that I felt applied to me just because I like the way it sounded, but when God truly speaks to you it's more likely to leave you dumbfounded and utterly surprised that God is actually paying very careful attention to your situation. It's enough to fill your chest with fire, while simultaneously dumping a bucket of ice water on your head to wake you up to the fact that there are critical decisions to be made.

It's an absolute honor to say that we've received our first donation last week from Susan, one of our sweetest and most tenacious church sisters at New Vision; she's no stranger to El Salvador missions and has supported us with the purchase of a few of our paintings. Please pray for her as she continues to successfully battle cancer with beautiful, unwavering courage.

There were a lot of brass tacks put into place last week, as the first strokes of Paint by Faith's vision were laid down. We hope to formerly start fund raising soon, and appreciate all the prayers and petitions that have been going out.

Please continue to pray for us.
