"In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly." -Psalm 5:3

This has been a week of miracles, and there aren't enough words to express how good the Lord has been to us. Last weekend marked the 20th anniversary of New Vision Church, and we were able to honor their 20th year homecoming with a decorative mural that helped make the space feel more visually active.

Our Tuesday night art workshops have also been growing! We welcomed two new families in the past month, and are expecting to have another family join us this week!

It's amazing to be able to recognized how faithful and true the Lord is; the fact that we've gotten this far is a testimony to His faithfulness. We're so grateful to the families and our New Vision Church brothers and sisters who've been supporting us along the way, and we're excited to announce that we've successfully auctioned a family portrait commission for $450, which will be going towards our Kenya mission funds!

We've also completed another Sunday morning service painting, and we'll be working on posting a gallery on the website soon.

Next week, we'll be heading out to Tennessee to work on a mural for one of our sister churches, which will be the first mural we paint for another congregation. Please continue to pray for us, and if you feel lead, consider giving on our "Invest" page. We far from being sustainably funded but we continue to trust that the Lord will provide.

As the Lord continues to guide and align this ministry with His will, we continue to pray that He leads us to make the necessary adjustments to be available and focused for what He wants to do with us. I've been reflecting a lot on prayers that have been answered and prayers where the Lord has been silent; there are times where we will be tempted to look at our lives from the perspective of our current circumstance, and we miss the truth of what the Lord is doing. There have been weeks for me where the Lord was silent, but as I reflect on His perspective and what His word says about how far beyond our imagination the Lord's works are, I realize that sometimes the Lord is silent in prayer when we are focused on the wrong things.

Sometimes it seems His prayers go unanswered because our perspective is centered on our circumstances, and we're not paying proper attention to the areas of our lives where He is speaking and working. He may be silent on your prayers for marriage because He is still cultivating your patience and awareness of Him. He may still have you working at your current job because He's still using your love of the Lord as an example to convict a coworker.

What have you been praying for lately? Do you feel the Lord has been silent in a particular circumstance? What are some reoccurring scriptures that have been coming up? You can meditate on these in your own prayer time, or answer in the comments below.
